Meet our Clean Air Champions!

Clean Air Make More proudly introduces the Clean Air Champion program. It’s our effort to harness the actions—large and small—of real people that are improving the quality of the air in Maricopa County.  You see them biking, raking, or carpooling – they are Clean Air Champions and the actions they take every day make more clean air.  Click on the pictures below to meet our Clean Air Champions:

Join our efforts - Clean Air Make More Seeks MORE Clean Air Champions

A champion takes the ordinary and transforms it into the extraordinary. The term alone is very individual, conjuring distinct images in us all—there are probably a handful racing through your mind right now as you read this.

While there are multiple interpretations of the word, the constant thread in what defines a champion is commitment. And if you’re on this site, you’ve probably already made an important commitment to improving the quality of the air in our Valley, or at the minimum have an interest in it.

You and people like you are the inspiration for the Clean Air Champion program. It’s our effort to document your actions—large and small—that combined are preventing the brown cloud from becoming a permanent fixture in Maricopa County.

Tell us how you’re doing it! Biking, carpooling, combining trips, managing your energy consumption, refueling after dark they all make a difference. If you’re doing ONE of these things are ALL of them at once we want to hear about your “clean air lifestyle.” Find the full list of actions here.  By participating you’re confirming that everyone can take the ordinary and make it into something extraordinary.
